Book Swap
We’re excited to invite you to our Book Swap on February 11 from 5:30–7:00 PM at North Star, a fun community event to help kick off our Read-a-thon starting February 13!
How it works:
Starting today, you can bring gently used elementary-age books to the front desk area. Donation bins will be available at school starting next week.
You’re welcome to donate as many books as you’d like, as long as they’re in good condition.
Students are invited to stop by North Star between 5:30–7:00 PM on February 11th to "shop" and pick out new-to-them books!
No books to donate? No problem! Everyone is welcome to attend and participate.
The 2025/2026 Read-A-Thon is a fun event running from February 13–27, 2025, designed to encourage students to read, with all proceeds supporting school programs and resources.
Before the Read-A-Thon begins, families will receive instructions to activate a reader's personal page to track their child's reading progress and fundraising efforts. Families are encouraged to keep an eye out for more details. For questions or to volunteer, you can reach out to info@northstarelementarypto.org.
